NAMI Connection is a
NAMI Family Support Group is a support group for family members, significant others and friends of people with mental health conditions. Groups meet weekly, every other week or monthly, depending on location.
Co-occuring Disorders ( sometimes called a dual disorder ) is when someone is struggling with both a substance use disorder and a mental health disorder (such as depression, bipolar disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder, etc.), it is essential that any treatment they seek for substance abuse address both disorders.
